 Thump, Howl… GO! plays homage to the diverse strands of Funk & Soul music from around the world, showcasing the talents in live music along with the best DJ’s you can find around…

This is a club night for those looking to dance! Be ready for music both old and new. Come down and enjoy uplifting dancefloor bangers as well as intimate and enchanting voices from the global FUNK & SOUL spectrum…

★★ SABATTA ★★

Sabatta are a 3 piece led by singer/songwriter Yinka Oyewole based in Elephant and Castle, London, UK. They call their music Grunge Soul. It’s a mixture of Rock, Funk, Punk, Soul and Psychedelia. Influences include: Parliament/ Funkadelic, David Bowie, Talking Heads, Dead Kennedys, Elvis Costello, The Stooges, Sly Stone, Curtis Mayfield.
Sabatta have played through the UK, France, Italy, Turkey and the USA and are currency touring in support of their critically acclaimed album Middle Of The Night (released Oct 2015) available at all reputable online outlets and directly from www.sabatta.net.

The Venue
Farr’s School of Dancing

Named after the former occupants of the building in the 1930s, Farr’s School of Dancing serves a wide selection of craft beer and ales in a stripped back setting with a vintage-feel.

Inside, the stripped-back walls, uneven floorboards and vintage furnishings have become home from home to loyal patrons; cask ale drinkers, Swing Dancers, Sunday Roast lovers and weekend partygoers.
